A dedicated football development programme for boys who want to improve their skills, build confidence and take their game to the next level.
At Excel FC, we believe that every player has the potential to improve.
Our Player Development Programme is designed to give young players additional opportunities to develop their technical ability, football intelligence and confidence in a positive and challenging environment.
Whether your son is new to football, plays recreationally or already represents a team, our sessions provide an opportunity to learn, practise, challenge themselves and enjoy the game.
Football Development With A Purpose
Our coaching focuses on helping players become more confident and capable footballers.
Rather than simply focusing on winning, we concentrate on long-term player development and helping each player improve from their own starting point.
Players will work on:

We want players to understand the game as well as develop their technical ability.
Sessions include activities that encourage players to:

Players need confidence to express themselves.
We encourage players to take responsibility, try new things and make decisions without being afraid of making mistakes.

Football is a team game.
Through small-sided games, challenges and realistic football situations, players develop communication, teamwork and the ability to work effectively with others.
